Given so many of us are now enjoying the divine Wild Craft ceremonial cacao, I thought it timely that I shared a new recipe so that you may enjoy it in a different way (and enjoy these I promise you will).
You can make these clusters with any dried fruit or nuts you have in your pantry. I used pecans, cashews and cranberries. If you've a hungry family in your midst, consider doubling the recipe.
These Nutty Ceremonial Cacao Clusters were created by the very clever founder of Wild Craft Tasmania, Paula.
Makes 16-20 clusters
4 tbsp ceremonial cacao
6 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp cacao nibs
3/4 cup almond meal
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup dried fruit
1/4 cup coconut flakes
A pinch of sea salt
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Melt the chopped/grated cacao and coconut oil on the stove. Stir in the maple syrup.
Mix the dried ingredients together. Pour over the chocolate mix and combine well.
Form into little clusters on your tray and pop into the freezer for ten minutes.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge (they will melt if left out, you've been warned!). Enjoy!
