Refund policy

We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please refer to our policy below.

Returns.

Returns are accepted within 14 business days of receiving your order, provided the items are in their original condition.

For change of mind returns, we offer exchanges or online credit.

Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and with original tags attached. Note, our fulfilment team are unable to iron crumpled garments for resale. We recommend taking care when trying on items – garments received with make-up stains or other signs of wear will not be accepted. Please note that additional shipping charges apply.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Faulty items and issues.

The Holistic Ingredient accepts refunds on faulty items only. In the event of receiving a faulty item, we offer an exchange, online credit, or refund. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in its original condition. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 14 days of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

International Sales.

Please note all international sales are final.

Sale Items.

All sale items are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued, unless faulty.

To organise a return:

  • Contact hello@theholisticingredient.com within 14 business days of receiving your item(s), stating your reason for return, name, order number, and details of the item you wish to return.
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Please inform us which item you wish to exchange for, noting that exchanges incur additional shipping charges. If we are unable to fulfill your exchange request, online credit will be issued.
  • Ship your item via tracked shipping. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
  • The Holistic Ingredient is not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@theholisticingredient.com

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food - this includes our blends), personal care goods (such as make up, beauty products, fragrance, skin care, tooth and nail care products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
